The Need to Move

I'm moving garlandgrey to another host, which should be over and done with by next week. The service I use currently has so many great things about it, but doesn't allow comments from non-users. One of the ways we make content ours on the internet is by interacting with it. Right now the barrier to entry for interaction is unacceptably high.

This process will take time. I need to convert each post to PDF to back it up, transfer it to the new service, delete it from the old service (to prevent being penalized by Google for duplicate content) and then wrangle the formatting. The new service will be much more low maintenance.

Also, next week will be the start of the 500 words series, 500 words on various topics.
